
If the CD's are not auto running, check the following:
Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom
Locate the AutoRun key in the right pane. The value should be
set to 1. If not, double click the AutoRun value and set it to
1. If the AutoRun value doesn't exist, right click in the right
pane and select New, DWord value and name it AutoRun. Double click
the new value and set it to 1.
Next go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Look in the right pane for a value called NoDriveTypeAutoRun
This value should be set to 91 (145 decimal). If it isn't double
click the value and set it to 91. If it isn't present, right click
in the right pane and select New, DWord value and name it NoDriveTypeAutoRun.
Double click the new value and set it to 91.
OR
Remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters values completely from
the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11C
E-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to the branch indicated
above, locate the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters values. Right
click each and select Delete.
